March 14 - A

Dear Parents/Guardians:
For their Lenten Project, the students in Kindergarten through 6th grade are participating in the St. Jude Math-A-Thon. They're solving math problems and asking for pledges, so they can help the patients of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The final turn-in day is this Friday, March 16. Last year our students raised nearly $12,000, and we were in the top 50 schools in the nation that participated. Our goal this year is $13,000. Thank you for your support.
Mrs. Ashley Bordelon (Gr. 1&2), Mrs. Kasey Heard (Gr. 3&4), and Mrs. Jill Traczewitz (Gr. 5&6) will be facilitating Camp Read-A-Lot at OLPS in June. It was such a success last summer for students entering 3rd and 4th grade, that we are offering sessions this year for students entering 1st through 6th grade. See the attached flyer for details.
Please see the attached flyer that lists important dates for the remainder of the school year. FYI: The first day of the 2018-2019 school year will be August 14, 2018.
