April 11

Dear Parents/Guardians:
The students in grades 3-6 will be taking the ACT Aspire standardized test next week, April 16-20. Please make sure they get a good night’s sleep, eat a nutritious breakfast, and get to school on time! Testing starts promptly at 8:00am each morning. When you talk to your children about the test, encourage them to relax and to do their best. We use the results of the test to measure how well our students are doing academically compared to the rest of the nation and to assist us in our curriculum planning for the following school year.
Jackie Whitcher, our librarian, still needs some volunteers to help with the book fair which will be held May 1-3 in the school library. (see attached)
